Meet Mike Holt

I grew up in Columbus, GA. I am a first generation believer who grew up in a home with significant challenges. At the age of 17 I placed my faith in Jesus Christ and, by the grace of God, these challenges would then become channels of effective ministry. I attended the University of Georgia, where I met my wife Carla, started youth pastoring at the age of 21, and have never looked back. Together we have three amazing young adult kids: Jake, Josh, and Hannah Grace.

I have always felt a strong calling to evangelism and developing young people called to missions. After youth pastoring and serving as a missionary to students, I launched Missio Dei, a school of missions and evangelism for young adults.

I also have a passion to write and develop resources for leaders. I am the founder of Reach the City, a 40-day personal growth and outreach campaign for the local church. I have also just developed another outreach campaign called The Beautiful Feet Tour. Through Missio Dei and these two outreach campaigns, multitudes have come to Christ in a variety of mission contexts.

I am the author of two books: A Life That Wins and Inside Out. I have a resourcing platform for pastors and believers committed to serve in their local church and reach the lost called Ministry Resource Hub.

I still travel extensively with a passion to encourage other leaders and empower churches to become everything God has called them to be. God has blessed me with the ability to connect with all ages through passion, humor, and creativity. I strive to minister in a spirit of authenticity and humility and am committed to providing a low maintenance/high quality ministry to every church and event.
