9 Steps in 90 Days

Commit to spending time with God daily.
Commit to praying for the lost daily and commit to a one hour Silent Outreach or Prayer Walk.
Identify one friend you will reach over 90 days.
Write out your personal testimony.
Spend time with your friend at least twice in 90 days.
Invite your friend to church at least once.
Share your faith with your friend.
Participate in one service project in your community.
Create a follow up plan to continue reaching your friend after the journey has ended.

90 Day Devotion Plan

You’ll receive a daily email with a unique blend of Bible reading, written devotion for reflection, and a short inspirational video to help you engage with God and the people around you each day.

Evangelism Resources

Access an online masterclass on evangelism and outreach that consists of nine videos no longer than 20 minutes each. Each video coincides with one of the nine steps for watching throughout the journey.

Text-imony Time!

Receive a nightly text encouraging you to share a testimony about what you did that day to share your faith with an unchurched person, such as simply serving them or by verbally sharing Christ in some way.

What is a simple overview of the journey?

The Beautiful Feet Tour is an outreach initiative empowering believers to take 9 Steps in 90 days to reach at least one friend for Christ.

9 Steps X 10 days per step = 90 Days

Daily morning emails with written devotionals and short-form video content
Daily evening texts (text-imony!) asking participants to share if they:
- Verbally shared an aspect of the gospel with someone that day or, if they showed the love of Christ to someone that day through an act of service.
- Participants are then given the option to share exactly what they did to show or share the gospel that day.
- If participants did either of these two steps, even in a small way, they are then asked to record how many physical steps they took that day, as recorded by their step counter (Apple Watch, smartphone, Fitbit, etc). Why? Because this practice illustrates a core teaching of The Beautiful Feet Tour—as believers we are called to make every day and the steps we take count for eternity!
An evangelism masterclass consisting of 9 additional long-form videos to equip church members to share their faith, to be viewed in three different ways:
- Option 1: Watch one video every ten days of the campaign, coinciding with the daily devotional emails. (See 90 day breakdown below.)
- Option 2: As a small group series on your own schedule.
- Option 3: As a “crash course” to be viewed at the member’s before the end of Step 3.

Why 90 days?

Because reaching people takes time. The Beautiful Feet Tour allows people who are newer to sharing their faith, or who have never identified someone in their life to reach for Christ, to have a long enough runway to build that relationship and embark on a personal missions journey from “scratch.”

This campaign is designed to help instill the spiritual discipline of evangelism into the lives of individual believers and the local church. Culture takes time to cultivate and requires change, discipline, and intentionality. The Beautiful Feet Tour is better defined as a “catalyst for cultural change” rather than a “campaign” that simply comes and goes.

The Beautiful Feet Tour is also an empowerment for discipleship in a believer’s life and includes personal outreach in this discipleship paradigm. It empowers believers to know God, through daily Bible time and prayer, and to make Him known through outreach efforts. The 90 day approach allows the time for a deeper spirituality to take root in a believer’s life.

Can you tell me more about the significance of counting my steps each day?

Jesus told his disciples in Mark 16:15 to “GO into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” He commissioned these same disciples to fulfill the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 when he said to them, “Therefore GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”.

The word “GO” that Jesus uses in these verses is better understood “AS YOU GO.” In other words, as you go through your normal daily life, share the gospel with people and make disciples. It is the paradigm of the Beautiful Feet Tour that if you do anything to share the gospel or show the love of Christ throughout your day in some intentional way, you have made the steps you took that day count for eternity. Your daily step count, therefore, could easily be called your daily, “as you go steps,” in keeping with the spirit of the Great Commission Jesus has given to every believer.

At the end of the journey, you will be emailed how many total steps you made count for eternity in the 90 day period. Churches or small groups participating in this journey together will also receive a count of how many steps they all took collectively to influence people and their community for Christ over the 90 days.
